It was perhaps the most beautiful day I've ever seen here in Caspar; the beaches freshly smoothed by the rains, the air clear and fresh, and the sun warm and brilliant.
I am playing with my lenses and I was stunned at what I could capture with my new camera! Brilliant moon is filling up fast, and the early evening leaves it at a glistening level! Not a cloud in the sky.
Welcome to the East Coast to West Coast sister photo-blog. We started this as a 365 Project on January 1st, 2010. This is one of two efforts to keep connected in ways besides phone calls and emails.
If you are curious about the name... we are working to change it, but it evolved from a soulful sister conversation about our hopes to one day be two little old ladies, with our white picket fence, our rocking chairs, and our glasses of lemonade - TOGETHER, rocking and laughing and sharing time with each other. Monica and I have managed to stay on separate coasts for most of our lives... and that has been hard. So, in a spirited sisterly way, we share visions of our lives and worlds daily... unaware of what the other will shoot and discover.
Feel free to comment, to explore, and enjoy.
One update, starting in March, is related to the image size. I finally got our diptychs to load large enough so that clicking an image gives you a better view of our shared worlds.
